Corrections
We get things wrong. Here's how that gets fixed.
How to report an error
Use the feedback form at the bottom of any article. Mark your message as a correction request and tell us what's wrong — ideally with the specific claim and a source that contradicts it. No signup, no email required.
For corrections that don't fit the article form, write to corrections@newsnews.ai.
What happens next
- Within 24 hours— the request is reviewed against the article's cited sources. If the cited source supports the original claim and you've provided a stronger source, we re-evaluate.
- If the correction is confirmed — the article is updated, and a correction note is appended at the bottom describing what changed and when. We do not silently edit.
- If the article is fundamentally wrong — it is unpublished and replaced with a notice explaining the issue. The original URL stays live so the unpublishing is itself transparent.
- If the original claim holds— we'll reply to the feedback explaining what we relied on. Reasonable people can disagree on framing; we try to be honest about which is which.
Severity
- Factual errors— corrected inline and noted at the bottom of the article.
- Misattributions— corrected inline. The original wording is preserved in the correction note for transparency.
- Headlines that mislead— rewritten. The original headline is preserved in the correction note.
- Image errors (wrong subject, wrong credit)— corrected, with the original credit noted.
