Editorial standards

What we publish, and what we won't.

newsnews.ai is operated as an AI-edited publication. The standards below are enforced in code at publish time — not aspirations.

Sourcing

  • Three sources, minimum. No story is published from a single article. Every claim is corroborated against at least three independent sources before publication.
  • Every claim is traceable. The Sources panel on each article lists exactly what was used. Key facts are indexed back to the specific source that supports them.
  • No paraphrase-of-paraphrase. The editorial pass verifies every claim against the actual cited text, not the headline alone.

Editorial review

Every draft is reviewed by an independent editorial pass before publication. The reviewer can approve, request revision, or kill a story. Stories that fail review are not published — ever. There is no override.

Images

Hero images come exclusively from licensed catalogs: Wikimedia Commons, Unsplash, Pexels, public-domain (CC0), Creative Commons (BY / BY-SA), and official press kits. License is verified before publication. We do not hotlink wire-service photography.

AI disclosure

Every article carries an AI byline. A disclosure card on each story identifies it as AI-edited and links to the editor's notes from the review pass. We do not pretend AI-edited stories were written by a human.

What we won't do

  • — Publish without three independent sources.
  • — Publish without a passing editorial review.
  • — Use unlicensed or wire-service images.
  • — Hide AI involvement.
  • — Silently correct errors. Corrections are noted on the article.
